Worship Ministries
The mission of the Worship Ministries is to maintain the quality of our liturgical celebrations.  This includes spiritual development, prayer experiences, as well as staffing and training those who assist.  The Worship Ministries are responsible for proposing, planning, and executing, in cooperation with the Pastor and Parochial Vicar, all liturgies, including those that address special needs of the parish.

Altar Servers:
Provide assistance at Mass and other services by Cross bearing holding Missals, ringing bells, and assist Deacons in setting up Altar. They assist Father at Mass and other Liturgical functions when needed. Girls and boys who have completed third-grade have made their First Holy Communion are invited.

Burse Club:
Providing the best education for our seminarians is one of the major priorities of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. It is rare that a seminarian, even with the help of his family, can afford the full education costs of studying for the Priesthood. Therefore, the Burse Club was formed as a Lay Apostolate of the faithful to assist in the costs associated with such a blessed education. Within our Diocese a Burse Club member pays dues of $1.00 dollar per month and $12.00 dollars per year. There are no regular meetings, just your prayers and financial support of our seminarians is required.

Charismatic Prayer Group:

We are in active group of parishioners the desire to praise and worship God through community prayer and song. We have weekly meetings on Wednesday nights at 7:30 PM and all are welcome. We are part of the Charismatic Prayer Groups of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. There's a yearly conference organized by the Diocesan Council. There are no dues or fees but it is recommended that members attend a Life in the Spirit Seminar to benefit more fully from the Charismatic worship.

Choir:

There are praising voices at each Mass and all members of the Parish are invited and encouraged to join in. Our purpose is to praise and worship our Lord with music and to enhance the Mass with musical joy. Men and women are needed! No special musical training is required, but we have mandatory weekly rehearsals and you're asked to show up 15 minutes prior to Mass to be ready for the celebration. We are also looking for instrumentalists - so if you play the flute, violin or other classical instrument, please consider sharing your talent with the parish.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion:
This ministry is an indispensable part of our parish. These ministers assist the clergy regularly at Mass and provide Holy Communion to the sick, shut-ins and the incarcerated, who are unable to go to Mass. If you feel a calling to this important ministry you must meet with the Pastor. If he feels you are ready, your name will be given to the Bishop and you will receive training and be officially installed.

Cursillo:
The Cursillo movement offers a dynamic way of developing, living and sharing one's spirituality. A Cursillo weekend runs from Thursday through Sunday night. Throughout the weekend, participants live and work together, hear talks given by priests and laymen, attend Mass, pray together, and visit the Blessed Sacrament daily. A separate Cursillo weekend is held for men and women.

Eucharistic Adoration:
The purpose of Eucharistic adoration is to honor and adore the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. It creates a greater hunger for the Lord at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and provides a time for deepening a personal relationship with Christ. Adoration takes place on weekdays from 715 to 8:15 AM and on Fridays from 12 noon to 8:00PM. The Eucharist may not be left unattended at any time during Adoration, therefore, we need people who can commit to a specific time and those who can fill in if someone is on vacation or sick. Please consider this valuable ministry of devotion to Our Lord.

We pray, have fellowship, read the scriptures, teach and share - and we serve each other to foster holiness and grace.
